Our choir was founded in 1974 under the musical direction of Pamela Jones and celebrated 50 years in 2024. We provide a stimulating and enjoyable opportunity for our members to sing a wide range of songs including many favourite show numbers, religious pieces and more traditional male voice songs.
We perform up to 15 concerts each year to raise much needed funds for local and national charities. These include joint concerts with choirs from the Midlands, the South Coast, Yorkshire and more local groups.
We have successfully taken part in competitions in Truro and Poole and Torbay, and we won the overall best choir trophy in Torbay. In 2022 we experienced an exciting tour to Belgium culminating in a performance at the Menin Gate in Ypres.
We are always looking for new members and normally rehearse on Tuesday evenings in East Budleigh, East Devon
